Jingle & Mingle Down 181
Well the time has come for the 2nd Annual Jingle and Mingle Down 181 shopping event and I am so thrilled. This is the 3rd “Down 181” shopping event in a year (last years Jingle and Mingle as the first ever, and then the Flamingle this summer as the second). The planning and love that has gone into making each event better than the last is unmatched, and some of our favorite local retailers up and “down 181” have created what is sure to be a spectacular event for our community! The event is Saturday December 10th from 9 AM to 6 PM. Read on for all the details, the announcement of the retailers sales, and a special giveaway!
Tickets are currently on presale for the event at each of the participating retail stores: Recycled Memories, Boho Blooms Boutique, Guns & Glamour Boutique, Top Hat Thirftique, Home Marketplace on 3rd, Sisters Boutique & Gifts, Double Trouble Boutique, Finders Keepers Market, and Southern Soule Designs. The tickets are $8 and all of the proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the Sunnyside 4H Club, who will use the funds to purchase Christmas presents to donate to the Wilson County Area Children’s Foundation. Besides assisting an admirable organization and community service effort, the $8 ticket will be your “key” to the event.
Your purchase of a ticket gets you your map and your wristband. With the wristband you will be able to unlock EXCLUSIVE sales at each retailer and the map shows you the participating locations, a list of recommend local food and drink stops on the back, and it will be where you get your stamps! The stamps are given for going into each location and seeing what their store is about and what they have to offer. By getting all of your stamps, you will be entered into the drawing (which is being done a little different this go around). There will be TEN drawings total, TEN WINNERS! 7 drawings are a value of $50+, 2 drawings are a value of $75+, and a grand prize drawing with a value of $450+!
On top of the exclusive sales, each participating retailer will be giving out 10 FREE grab bags with the first 10 purchases made at their location that day. PRO TIP: start at your favorite store! Top, middle, bottom, wherever on the map you start, make sure it’s your favorite. The grab bags are curated uniquely by each retailer, so whichever store matches your vibes and aesthetic, will be where you want to begin the day of shopping fun. Remember, the FIRST 10 purchases, so get to your favorite store early and quick!
