Hello and welcome!

I am so excited to be starting this and I hope that many people find this page helpful - whether it’s someone looking for a business to support or the wonderful small business owners I get to sit down with a feature on this page.

To start off, my name is Hannah Dugi (Sawers originally) and I am from Floresville Texas. Multiple generations of my family are from this town and it wasn’t a surprise when I found myself wanting to come back here after college… I LOVE OUR TOWN! I currently work in real estate for Real Broker and absolutely love my job. This all started when I began doing #SupportLocal giveaways on my real estate social media to help support and bring attention to some amazing locally owned businesses.

Over the past year, I feel like I have somehow become an advocate for these businesses. I have gotten to know owners, shared their information, prayed for them, fought for them, and dreamt with them. I kept seeing a gap in the support of these places and was always trying to figure out how to do more for them and their successes. A friend of mine brought the idea to the table that I should start a town newsletter. After about a week of thinking it over, responding to messages of people asking where in town to get “this” or where to go for “that”, I realized that I have fallen into a place of being a knowledgable voice.

I am so excited to be beginning this new journey in my support of small business. This blog/newsletter is going to be my way of using that voice and giving these local small businesses the support, coverage, and outreach that they deserve to get from our community.

My plan is to start with different shops and businesses, from boutiques to food to services, and interview the people behind them. I want y’all to know these owners the way that I do. I want y’all to have the chance to hear their story, know their hearts, and see the efforts that they put in to their dreams and this community. I also will do posts with updates on these businesses, big sales they might be having soon, and events happening.

I hope that you find this a resourceful place and fall in love with each of these places just like I have. We have an amazing town and community, and I cannot wait to support all our dreamers on this venture of mine.
