In 2022, a beautiful tribute was born in the heart of the community—913 Candle Co. This heartfelt business was founded by an incredible entrepreneur named Mallory, who turned personal grief into a source of inspiration and healing. After the loss of her father to pancreatic cancer in March 2021, the owner took a step back from work and school, seeking solace in creativity. It was during this time that the idea for 913 Candle Co blossomed, rooted deeply in love and memory.

The name itself carries significant meaning, as it honors her father's birthday, September 13th. She also faces typical entrepreneurial hurdles, like the Texas heat, which can literally melt her product and limit market participation. Yet, she perseveres, fueled by the passion to create and the desire to honor her father's legacy.
